Dear Mrs Robinson

I didn't know.Twelve, eighteen months - whatever.
Had coffee, a drink, a meal. Just friends.
I didn't know.
Now I know
You were my friend. And I didn't know.
We had a bond. Work, interests. Shared experiences.
Miller, Betjemin, but you were something else. And I didn't know.
Should've stored the memory - didn't know you'd become
this feeling, this lovely person, this consuming passion.
Imagine not having this - feeling like crying, been there a kind of happiness.
Need to share it - so remote.
Got to tell you - how it is - didn't know what, but now I know.
Now I know.
