The Feminine Touch

I'm sitting on my comfy chair,
Husband's out, I know not where,
I have a little tale to tell,
So listen hard and listen well.

A male has come into my life,
I try to be a faithful wife,
I didn't think that I would fail,
His name is short, he's called E-mail.

I know that E-mail needs my care,
He waits for me when I'm not there,
He thrives to feel my female touch,
He doesn't really ask for much.

But time with E-mail stretches far,
The hours go by, what fools we are,
Now, husband's out, I know not where,
And I'm just sitting in my chair.
