Uncle Arthur
The second son of William and Alice Nicod, he never married.
Not much is known about Arthur. He was a motor mechanic, lived the last few years of his life in Harold Wood, where he died of cancer. He was a very good-hearted generous man.
I don't think anyone in the family saw him for many years, but Aunt Violet managed to track him down and he turned up for my wedding, Mum and Dad stayed in contact with him until the time of his death. (Joyce)
